The paper Colonial scientific-medical documentary films and the legitimization of an ideal state in post-war Spain<\/a>\u00a0explores the role of film and discourses in the building and legitimating strategies of Franco\u2019s fascist regime in Spain.<\/p>\n Carlos\u00a0Tabernero (Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona),\u00a0<\/span>Isabel\u00a0Jim\u00e9nez-Lucena (University of Malaga) and Jorge Molero-Mesa (Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona) present a study of\u00a0<\/span>five medical-colonial documentary films produced during the 1940s.
