In 2000 it was included in the virtual library <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_serial&amp;pid=0104-5970&amp;lng=pt&amp;nrm=iso\">Scielo<\/a>\u00a0(Scientific Electronic Library Online). \u00a0The free access to its full content on the internet contributed to expand the journal&#8217;s visibility, and the increasing number of articles turned out to require its quarterly edition, which began in 2006. In this same year, the journal was also included in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed?term=Historia,+Ciencias,+Saude+Manguinhos&amp;cmd=DetailsSearch\" target=\"_blank\">PubMed\/Medline<\/a><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>the largest and most accessed free database of medical literature.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, we launched a blog in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.revistahcsm.coc.fiocruz.br\/\">Portuguese <\/a>and one in E<a href=\"http:\/\/www.revistahcsm.coc.fiocruz.br\/english\/\">nglish and Spanish<\/a>, as well as profiles on Facebook (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/RevistaHCSM\">Portuguese<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/JournalHCSM\">English \/ Spanish<\/a>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/revistaHCSM\">Twitter<\/a>. This pioneering experience among Brazilian scientific publications increased the visibility of our articles, including older ones forgotten in cyberspace.<\/p>\n<p>We would also like to thank the readers and authors, who both support us republishing our publications in their own social networks, thus contributing to the wide dissemination of the history, science and health &#8211; our primary goal.<\/p>\n<p>Our greetings to all.
