It will take place from 30 September to 1 October 2014. This\u00a0unprecedented\u00a0encounter aims to promoting the dialogue between social and natural scientists to discuss solutions that can conciliate sustainable economical growth and efficient strategies to reduce poverty and inequality. \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.revistahcsm.coc.fiocruz.br\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Society-and-Nature.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"Society and Nature\" src=\"http:\/\/www.revistahcsm.coc.fiocruz.br\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Society-and-Nature-212x300.jpg\" width=\"212\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Scientists from Latin America and the Caribbean will discuss questions that afflict the contemporaneous society, such as energy resources and sustainability, \u00a0urban violence and poverty. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The seminar was organized in collaboration with the Latin America and Caribbean division of the\u00a0\u00a0International Council for Science (ICSU-ROLAC) and \u00a0the International Social Science Council (ISSC).\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The seminar is free and accessible to everyone interested on the subject.
