The philosopher Martin\u00a0<span class=\"ref\">Heidegger<\/span>\u00a0considered a negative judgment to be tied to an original experience of nothing. The psychologist Ren\u00e9 Spitz attributed the acquired capacity to say \u201cno\u201d to the acquisition of the so-called third psychic organizer, since it implies having learned the meaning of prohibition from parents and having lived a first manifestation of identification with them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the article <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/j\/hcsm\/a\/BcQttsY594qs54YvpCxk6Nd\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The refused interpretation in Freud, Jung and beyound: What if the patient says \u201cno\u201d<\/a>,<br \/>\nMarco Innamorati, PhD, PsyD, Professor of History and Philosophy of scientific concepts at University of Rome \u201cTor Vergata\u201d (Italy)\u00a0\u00a0tries to show how the consequences of refusing an interpretation can be very different within Freudian, Jungian, and other psychotherapeutic models.\u00a0 A \u201cno\u201d may imply in some cases a refutation of the model of reference, and in others less radical meanings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">There was no literature about confronting the meaning of a refused interpretation in psychoanalysis and analytical psychology.
