Our new edition is out with a range of articles on different topics. The guest editor’s note (n3, Jul-Sept 2021) honors the historian of science Shozo Motoyama, who died on January 26th, 2021, at the age of 81. He was a full professor of History of Science at the Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages and Humanities of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP).
This edition also includes: social medicine in Colombia between 1930 ad 1946; primary health care in the twilight of the Brazilian dictatorship; the discovery of chlorpromazine and the management of madness; the relationship between health and war in Yucatan, Mexico, during the second half of the nineteenth century and much more.
