Marcos Cueto will serve as Tinker Visiting Professor at the University of Chicago this fall

The scientific editor of HCS-Manguinhos, Marcos Cueto, will teach at the University of Chicago as a Tinker Visiting Professor of the Center for Latin American Studies during the fall 2023 term. He will be leading the discipline Covid-19 and Other Epidemics in Latin American History.

Each year, distinguished scholars and practitioners from Latin America serve as Tinker Visiting Professors at five major universities in the United States.

We congratulate him and wish him success in this incredible step in his career.
