Call for Papers – Wittgenstein and the Sciences

Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951) was an Austrian-British philosopher. He is consider by some to be the greatest philosopher of the 20th century.

Commemorating 100 years of Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and celebrating Wittgenstein’s philosophy 70 years after his death, the June 2021 edition of Transversal: International Journal for the Historiography of Science will feature a special issue on Wittgenstein and the Sciences: History and Philosophy of Science and Science Education.

The aim is to discuss, from a Wittgensteinian point of view, the different approaches to the history and philosophy of science as well as science education.

Submissions must be received by March 15, 2021, via the journal webpage www.historiographyofscience.org so they can be considered for the June 2021 issue. Click here to see the full cal
