African Journal of History and Culture (AJHC) is a peer reviewed open access journal. The journal is published monthly and covers all areas of African studies. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journals can be read online without any form of restriction.
The articles cover a range of issues related to African culture. The most recent article posted analyzes Amharic poems written in the 1950s and 1960s during annual College Day competitions held by students of the then Haile Selassie I University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. See the journal’s website.
