Our first issue of 2020 presents a partial historiographical review on the feminist perspective of the history of science and medicine. Ana Paula Vosne Martins, Profesor at Universidade Federal do Paraná reviews the history of women, science, and medicine, showing its main approaches, topics, sources and research problems.
This issue also features other articles in English and Spanish on a range of different topics, such as: the thalidomide disaster, 1960-1962; psichoanalysis and childhood; the 1877-1879 drought in Imperial Brazil; the creation of the Escuela de Salud Pública in Buenos Aires, 1958; and ethics in social medicine.
